1. Before Begin
- If uninstalling a printer driver that is installed as a local printer, it it required to have an Administrator right, whereas uninstalling of network printer driver does not require such right. When upgrading from any of the previous driver versions, save registered Label Information File before uninstalling the printer driver.
2. Uninstalling Printer Driver
- To uninstall printer driver, refer to the following steps. Please note that this uninstallation does not delete all files that are installed for the printer driver. For complete uninstallation by deleting all associated files, see the following section, Complete Uninstall.
- Open Printers folder and right click the driver that you wish to delete.
- Within the menu, select Remove.
- For the confirmation message diplayed, click Yes.
3. Complete Uninstall
- The above steps for "2. Uninstalling Printer Driver" does remove actual files but only the printer icon. For the complete deletion of local printer driver including all associated files, refer to the following steps.
- Open Printer Folder and right click. Select Server Property.
- Click Drivers tab, and select the driver for deletion. Click Remove.
- For the confirmation message for the deletion, click Yes.
