The COOLPIX S9 has been designed to compliment your sense of style and stimulate your passion for self-expression. Its distinctive wave-surface design catches the eye as you capture the moment, while its and ample 6.1 megapixels and precision 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens deliver true-to-life colour with crystal clear clarity. The One-touch portrait button provides instant access to Face-priority AF and In-Camera Red-Eye Fix for optimized image capture, and lets you transform image exposure after capture with D-Lighting. Composition is also aided, and playback made more enjoyable, thanks to a generous 2.5-inch LCD monitor. The S9 lets you record movies with sound and features the added advantage of the Stop-motion movie function, which makes still images come alive and lets you create your own animations. (*Face-recognition capability may be limited in some conditions). D-Lighting rescues underexposed images by improving brightness and picture detail where needed, while leaving correctly exposed areas just as they are. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix analyzes each image and automatically finds and corrects any accidental red-eye, which can sometimes occur in flash photography.

15 scene modes, 4 with scene mode assist automatically provide the appropriate settings for everything from party portraits to fireworks at night.
