Canon RAW Codec 1.2 is a software plug-in that, when installed in Windows Vista/Windows XP SP2 and SP3*, enables the import and display of RAW images (with the extension .CR2) taken with Canon cameras. Requires a WIC-compatible application (Windows Live Photo Gallery).

  • 2. RAW images with IPTC(International Press Telecommunications Council) information are handled as the Read Only files and can be developed.
  • 3. The phenomenon in which images were unable to be displayed when RAW images are previewed (processed) one after another on Windows Photo Gallery or Explorer has been fixed.
