NOTE: To successfully use the Kodak i600 TWAIN driver version 9.x with the Kofax VirtualReScan(VRS) v4.2 product you must first download and install the "VRS 4.2 Kodak i600 Update" (Kodaki600Update.exe) update from the Kofax web site at http://www.kofax.com/support/IP/VRS/4.2/4.2_downloads.asp. If this Kofax update is not installed any attempts to use this version of the Kodak i600 TWAIN driver with Kofax VirtualReScan(VRS) will cause a message indicating a problem with the version of the Kodak TWAIN driver.

Installing the latest Scanner Validation Tool (SVT) from the link will install both the latest TWAIN Data Source, and the latest ISIS Driver for the i600 Series Scanners.

Please be aware that both the TWAIN and ISIS device drivers have new Graphical User Interfaces.

  • Applications using either GUI will notice significant changes.
  • Be sure to backup your system before updating to this new version.
  • It is recommended that if you are using either GUI you review the Image Processing Guide which explains these changes.
