HP iPAQ 610/610c English RUU Update for Power Source Monitoring MP 1.01.00. HP iPAQ 600 Business Navigator Series - English ROM Update Utility for Power Source Monitoring.

This package contains the Bootloader Update Utility and Bootloader file for the listed iPAQ Business Navigator models and operating systems. This Bootloader update is designed for those devices which may experience power monitor failure event. Only those units produced before April 2008 require this update.

IMPORTANT: The Bootloader update is designed to replace the current Bootloader image. After update, the device performs a clean boot which erases the partnership and all user data and programs on the iPAQ Business Navigator. Therefore, backup your files before performing the Bootloader update.

It is important to follow the instruction of every step of the RUU application. Before performing the update, make sure the battery of the device is charged. Do not remove the USB cable or battery at any point during the update.

NOTE: The package contains Bootloader update only for products supporting the following SKU IDs. Supported SKU IDs: FA992AA#ABB, FA988AA#ABB, FA992AT#ABB, FA136AA#ABB, FA991AA#ARE, FA991AA#UUF, FA990AA#ABA.

FIXES:

  • Fixes the issue where the power source monitor reports an incorrect status and causes the system to shut down automatically. The issue is resolved by resetting the power source monitor when it reports the incorrect status.
