DV 1248ST Windows XP Driver Installation

  1. If a previous version of Diamond View drivers are installed, remove them via the "Add/Remove Programs" in Windows Control Panel.
  2. Run C:Driverdisk1setup.exe to begin the V3.43 scanner driver installation.
  3. Check the SCSI Model in the Selected Scanner Model dialogue box, then all the default settings for the rest of the dialogue boxes.
  4. Once the driver installation is complete shutdown the computer, connect the DV 1248ST scanner and power it on then restartup the computer.
  5. As Windows XP starts-up it will report finding a new SCSI controller and the Hardware Wizard will launch, select all the default options to install the SCSI controller.
  6. Windows XP will report the drivers are not digitally signed, click on Continue Anyway to complete the installation.
