BIOS Summary

Tekram DC-390U3D/DC-390U3W Ultra 160 SCSI Host Adapter (LSI 53C1010 SCSI Chip) BIOS 4.19.

DC-390U3D AND DC-390U3W SCSI Adapters are FLASH upgradeable. Use the Flash BIOS upgrades available below.

The files you will need to program Flash BIOS are:

  • FLASH8X5.EXE
  • 8XX_64.ROM (Available Below)

    1. To place the FLASH8X5.EXE utility on a DOS bootable diskette.
    2. Insert the diskette into drive "a:". Boot the system to the DOS prompt a:>. Type FLASH8X5 and press Enter.
    3. The first screen displayed indicates what files are necessary to upgrade and general instructions to upgrade. Press Enter to continue to the next window. This window is the main menu for the Flash Utility and contains these six choices:
      1. Update the EEPROM.
      2. Backup the current BIOS image.
      3. View board summary.
      4. Exit to DOS.
      5. Reboot.
      6. About Flash8x5.
    4. Choosing option 1 and follow the instructions to finish the BIOS upgrade.
